ReplyDeleteYou have tagged this and others as 'elderly humour'. I suspect that the majority of this type of joke are written about, rather than by the elderly - one is not often given the opportunity to know which. Suspecting that it is the former, I find I quickly have enough of such jokes, however humourous and true they are.
I belong to an email group of older woment and some of the members are constantly posting them, and sometimes I think we tend to laugh rather than cry.
Sorry! This is not an attack on you and please go on posting them. It's just that your posts under this head gave me a chance to air something that has been grumbling inside me for a while.
