A carpenter in my previous life?
While following the DIY instructions to assemble my new TV cabinet, I was stuck for more than an hour as I could not figure out how to install the runners (is that what we call them?) for the drawers. I tried positioning them again and again, turning them in all ways possible. Finally I realized that all the 4 runners were for the right side. I went back to the store (an international chain). The counter girl strongly suggested I should try again as "we do not make such mistakes". I requested for the superviser or a technician. After waiting a while 2 men appeared. The older man growled "apa?", meaning "what? or what's the matter?" After close examination and on-site attempt to install on a dummy cupboard, they concurred with me and replaced the items. The man who growled then instructed the other man to open up all the remaining boxes of this model on the shelf to ensure there are no more mistakes. The counter girl declared, "so now you have 2 right and 2 left sides", but she did not apologize. Mmm...maybe I was an artisan or carpenter in my previous life? he..he..
