Friendship that dwells within the heart

Today my very close friend Nor and her family moved out from the condo where we had been staying for the last 11 years. I shall miss our daily brisk walks in the neighbourhood, her cooking, the special closeness I shared with her and most of all her touch of kindness when it was needed most.

Nor all packed and ready to go.

The kitchen counter where I had spent a lot of time over the last 11 years, sipping green tea and taking advantage of Nor's hospitality.

We had had the benefit of being entertained by Ezra (Nor's elder son) on this organ until he left to study medicine in Australia about 3 years ago.

There's a miracle of Friendship that dwells within the heart,

And you don't know how it happens or where it gets its start...

But the happiness it brings you always gives a special lift,

And you realize that Friendship Is God's most perfect gift.
